These photos are taken following my migration to Tehran to study art and occasional trips to my hometown, Ahvaz. This period coincided with the loss of the house I spent my childhood and adolescence, the family tension, my parents’ aging, and new experiences in Tehran. Meanwhile, some questions kept occupying my mind:

Can I find my comfort?

What keeps a family together?

Why am I always dreaming about my hometown?

Although I have not yet found answers, seeing makes me confront the life I’ve been living.
