Amirhossein Kardouni is a photographer, photobook enthusiast, and instructor based in Tehran, Iran. His works, through various approaches, deal with micro-narratives drawn from his personal experiences and their connection to the socio-political environment of Iran. He holds an MA in photography from the University of Tehran and currently teaches as an adjunct lecturer at several universities. In 2021, he founded the Dastras Photobook Platform to facilitate dialogue about the medium within Iran.
